The first series of teaching materials on "expression-driven" teaching theory in international Chinese education and the case series of international Chinese education degree were officially released on Friday, focusing on the practical problems in Chinese teaching around the world and providing practical guidance for front-line teachers and researchers.

Zhong, who also serves as vice chairman of the National Committee for Professional Degree Education in International Chinese Language Teaching, said that books focus on the innovative path and real practice of Chinese education, which not only meets the front-line needs of overseas teaching, but also provides a reference for cross-cultural communication, and will help the steady development of international Chinese education.
"Only by returning to authentic speech contexts can learners acquire genuine language proficiency," Zhong noted when introducing the Case Study of the Professional Degree of International Chinese Education and said that this set of books contains the real experiences of 123 international Chinese education volunteers from 50 countries in teaching overseas, which provides first-hand experience of cross-cultural communication and international communication for graduate students with professional degrees.

Yu Changxue, director of the Chinese-foreign Humanities Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education, pointed out at the meeting that the successful publication of the Case Study of International Chinese Education Degree will become an important achievement in the field of international Chinese education.
"This book contains many stories of volunteers from Confucius Institute and can learn a lot about the real situation of overseas international Chinese education, which provides great enlightenment for our international Chinese teaching," Su Bina, dean of the School of International Chinese Education and Teacher Education of the Royal Cambodian Academy of Sciences, said.

As a highlight of the conference, the releases have brought important achievements to the field of international Chinese education in China. "This new book launch conference not only provides valuable theoretical support and practical reference for international Chinese education, but also further promotes the international sharing of Chinese education resources," Zhong said.
At the release site, Zhong and others presented sample books to representatives from Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and other countries to promote the overseas promotion and application of teaching materials.
