Qu Kai, secretary of the CPC Tianjin Normal University (TNU) Committee, was recently invited to lead a delegation to visit the Rainbow Confucius Institute and Sehan University in South Korea.
During the visit, Qu, together with Bai Xuejun, TNU's vice president, as well as faculty members from various schools of the university, participated in the Sehan University Higher Education Presidents' Forum, roundtable meetings, and the 30th anniversary commemoration of the founding of Sehan University.

At Sehan University, Qu delivered a speech at its 30th anniversary commemoration. He mentioned that since the establishment of friendly cooperation between TNU and Sehan University in 2001, the two universities have collaborated to educate a total of more than 4,000 students, becoming a model of Sino-Korean educational exchange and cooperation. Over the years, the two universities have engaged in mutual learning and assistance, and achieved mutual benefits in various fields such as international Chinese education, talent cultivation, and scientific research, effectively promoting the development of the educational undertakings of both universities.

The president of Sehan University stated that since the establishment of friendly relations between the two universities in 2001, both sides have fully leveraged their respective strengths to bolster cooperation. Collaborations between the two universities have achieved remarkable results, and he expressed sincere gratitude to his TNU counterparts.

Sehan University is an important partner of TNU in South Korea. Over the years, the two universities have actively promoted educational cooperation and cultural exchange, establishing a deep friendship through long-term collaboration. Since 2003, they have jointly organized a Master's degree program in Information Studies and Educational Administration, which is a Sino-Korean cooperative program approved by the education ministries of both countries. In 2022, the two universities joined hands to collaborate on the construction of the Confucius Institute at Sehan University, further consolidating the foundation of bilateral cooperation and expanding collaborative opportunities, setting an example for diversified cooperation in international humanities exchange.
