Tianjin Normal University held an exam on March 25 for selecting international Chinese education volunteers. Almost 100 students from 12 schools, including the School of Foreign Languages and the College of International Education and Exchange, participated in the selection.
The organizers provided detailed explanations on the development of TNU's collaboration with Confucius Institutes, the sending of international Chinese education volunteers, experiences of volunteers abroad, and helped candidates make informed decisions.

The exam comprehensively assessed students' Chinese language foundation, teaching abilities, foreign language proficiency, knowledge of Chinese culture, skills, adaptability and flexibility, psychological qualities, and job compatibility.
TNU has invited experts, professors, and teachers who specialize in international Chinese education from universities in Tianjin, overseas Confucius Institutes, and those with extensive experience in selecting international Chinese education volunteers as examiners. The aim is to select outstanding candidates with strong abilities, adaptability, passion and a sense of responsibility.
