TNU and Navamindradhiraj University hold a ceremony for the signing of a cooperation agreement in Tianjin.
Recently, a delegation of the Bangkok municipal government, alongside representatives from Navamindradhiraj University in Thailand, visited Tianjin Normal University (TNU) and signed a cooperation agreement.
During the event, Qu Kai, secretary of the CPC TNU Committee, said that TNU and Navamindradhiraj University have a solid foundation for cooperation. The Thai Chinese Education Cooperation Center, jointly established by Navamindradhiraj University and the Maritime Silk Road Confucius Institute, is a landmark achievement in international cooperation in the field of Chinese education between the two universities. It has played a crucial role in cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand. TNU attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation. TNU will take this event as an opportunity to further contribute to the education development of the two sides.

Zhong Yinghua, president of the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching (ISCLT), vice-director of the Science, Technology and Education Committee of the CPPCC Tianjin Municipal Committee and dean of the International Chinese Education Development Research Institute, said that TNU has over 20 years of exchange history with the education sector in Thailand. Thai Chinese language teachers from Bangkok have visited the university for training three times, playing an important role in promoting educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Thailand.

Pongsak Noipayak, vice president and associate professor of Navamindradhiraj University, stated that cooperation between the two universities provides a great opportunity for teachers and students in Thailand to learn Chinese. Navamindradhiraj University will continue to support the development of international Chinese education and he hopes the signing of the agreement will help deepen cooperation with TNU in teacher and student exchanges and talent cultivation.

Navamindradhiraj University in Thailand is the only higher education institution among more than 430 schools under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The university has advanced educational concepts and a broad international cooperation perspective, with seven departments and a comprehensive teaching and research institution.
