Professor Wei Zimin of the School of Life Sciences at Tianjin Normal University (TNU) has been included on Elsevier's list of "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" in 2023, which was released on March 27. Professor Wei Zimin
Wei Zimin, an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at TNU, is the chief expert for a national key research and development program, a national candidate for the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talent Project," an expert who has made outstanding contributions to the country and a recipient of special allowances from the State Council of China. His main research focuses on the resource utilization of organic waste composting. He has led over 20 national key projects, and published more than 270 academic papers, with over 130 papers as the first or corresponding author in journals ranked at or above the second quartile by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
