On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development national strategy, Tianjin Normal University (TNU) took the lead in establishing the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Physics Popular Science Education Base Alliance. The inauguration ceremony was held on April 13 at TNU.

Faculty representatives from over 10 universities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, as well as over 200 students from Tianjin participated in the event.
During the ceremony, the alliance signed cooperative agreements with three primary and secondary schools, aiming to further promote the leading role of universities in the science education of teenagers.
The alliance's "Science Popularization Ambassador," Cao Zexian, delivered a fascinating physics popular science thematic presentation on the theme of blackbody radiation, providing for the participating teachers and students a multidimensional physics learning experience.
Meanwhile, members of the alliance and over 10 principals from basic education schools in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region held a roundtable meeting on the theme "Construction and Development of Science Popularization Education Bases Based on Comprehensive Practical Activity Courses." Attendees contributed ideas and made suggestions, discussing the establishment of a high-quality science education system and promoting the high-quality development of science education in primary and secondary schools in the region.
