Several research teams composed of faculty and students from the School of Marxism at Tianjin Normal University (TNU) have recently conducted in-depth and immersive study tour activities in Tianjin's Xiqing district.

During the activities, the teams learned about the reconstruction progress of the greenhouse and planting field in Diliubu village after last year's flooding disaster.

Villagers' introduction helped the students get to know about the importance of constructing a livable and beautiful countryside.

"In the past, the lectures usually focused on teaching materials and textbooks and were conducted in the classroom. This time, we have brought the students to the practical scenes of the real life, providing an immersive experience to them," said Li Zhaoyang, executive vice-dean of the School of Marxism, TNU.
