Recently, students from the School of Music and Film of Tianjin Normal University (TNU), along with a visiting delegation of the university, conducted a cultural exchange and performance activity at Sehan University in South Korea.

During the performance, TNU students performed the guzheng (a traditional, zither-like stringed instrument) and hand drum piece "Dance of Spring," and the classical Chinese dance "Twelve Flower Fairies" from the Han (206 BC-AD 220) and Tang (618-907) dynasties, as well as popular Chinese songs. The programs fully showcased the unique charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture, while the passionate and unrestrained performances embodied the youthful vitality and spirit of contemporary Chinese university students.

In this cultural exchange and performance event, TNU students not only brought high-level artistic interpretations to their Korean peers, but also deepened the understanding and appreciation of excellent traditional Chinese culture among the Korean people, further promoting mutual learning and exchanges between Chinese and Korean youth, and enhancing mutual understanding.

For many years, TNU has adhered to an open approach to education, with extensive international exchange and cooperation, actively promoting "Chinese culture to go global." Faculty and students of the university have frequently traveled abroad, serving as cultural ambassadors and showcasing the beauty of traditional Chinese arts and culture to the world. They have passionately and diligently told the story of China, effectively spreading the influence of the Chinese culture abroad, making commendable contributions to the promotion and development of cultural heritage, and actively contributing to TNU’s goal of becoming a "world-renowned" university.
