The academic committee meeting of the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Environment was recently held at Tianjin Normal University (TNU).

This meeting saw the participation of professors and academicians from multiple universities nationwide, as well as representatives from relevant institutes, including the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the CAS Institute of Geochemistry, and the CAS Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research.

At the event, TNU Vice President Bai Xuejun extended his sincere gratitude to the attendees for their long-term guidance and support for the laboratory. He also highlighted that through this meeting, the laboratory is expected to follow the suggestions and guidance from various parties and contribute greater efforts to the high-quality development of TNU.

The academic committee fully acknowledged the construction achievements of the laboratory in recent years, while providing specific guidance on the refinement of laboratory characteristics and advantages, the construction of talent teams and disciplines, external cooperation and exchanges, and service to the economic and social development of Tianjin.

The laboratory leader stated that they would absorb and adopt the valuable opinions and suggestions put forward by the experts and better serve the high-quality development of TNU and the sustainable development of Tianjin's economy and society.
