Recently, the final of the 17th iCAN Innovation Contest was held in Beijing. Tianjin Normal University’s (TNU) project, jointly submitted by the School of Psychology and the School of Foreign Languages, won third prize.
TNU’s team in the 17th iCAN Innovation Contest
Consisting of three stages, namely campus-level, regional-level, and the national final competitions, the 17th iCAN Innovation Contest received a total of 10,380 project submissions from 1,241 universities nationwide.
TNU’s project, titled "Mind Essence: Breaking the Barriers of Digital Psychological Diagnosis and Therapy," focuses on the field of psychological health screening and therapy, showcasing the collaborative efforts of faculty and students in the School of Psychology and the School of Foreign Languages.
Competing in the national finals as the first-place winner of Tianjin municipality, the project team delivered a presentation on the psychological screening and therapy system to the judges and over a hundred investment and financing institutions, receiving unanimous praise.
Over the years, TNU has attached great importance to the implementation and promotion of interdisciplinary and cross-school collaborative education concepts. It will continue to integrate the advantages and resources of different schools and subjects, encourage active cooperation between faculty and students, and promote innovative research and project development.
