On Dec 6, the championship tournament and project resource matching conference under the China International College Students' Innovation Competition (2023) kicked off in Tianjin. Tianjin Normal University (TNU) won the golden prize in the main competition.

TNU's project team, led by faculty and students from the School of Economics and adhering to the original intention of telling great cultural and creative stories, integrated traditional cultural elements with digital technology. They achieved a breakthrough by winning the golden prize in the competition as the second-place team.
The project team consisted of students from the School of Economics, the School of Music and Film, the College of Fine Arts and Design, and the School of Journalism and Communication. During the six-month preparation period, team members fully utilized their expertise and highlighted the advantages of interdisciplinary and cross-professional teamwork. In addition to receiving training from Professor Hu Dongning from the School of Economics, multiple innovation and entrepreneurship mentors were also invited to conduct online and offline guidance lectures, helping to comprehensively improve the projects and ultimately achieved historic results.
This year, the China International College Students' Innovation Competition received a total of 4.21 million projects from 5,296 universities in 151 countries and regions. Among them, 423 projects received the golden prizes.
As of now, TNU has accumulated a total of 3 golden, 2 silver, and 23 bronze prizes in the national finals. It has also been honored with the Advanced Collective Award and ranks among the top universities in Tianjin.
Over the years, TNU has deepened the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and has been recognized with such titles as the first batch of "Demonstration Universities for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform" in Tianjin and the construction unit of the Tianjin Municipal Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base.
