The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee recently approved the establishment of new postdoctoral research stations in Chemistry and Geography at Tianjin Normal University (TNU).
Following the existing postdoctoral research stations in Political Science, Marxist Theory, Education, Psychology, Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History, and World History, this approval marks a breakthrough for TNU in establishing postdoctoral research stations in science and engineering disciplines, expands its disciplinary layout and promotes its academic integration.
TNU is actively implementing the national reform of the postdoctoral system and advancing the construction of its postdoctoral workforce. With the continuous expansion of postdoctoral research stations and the improvement of research output quality in recent years, the university has provided strong support for the construction of a high-level faculty team.
In 2020, the university formulated and implemented Implementation Measures for the Postdoctoral Researchers at Tianjin Normal University (Trial) to fully leverage the advantages of the postdoctoral system and create a green talent development channel.
The newly added postdoctoral research mobility stations are seen as a strong support for further enhancing the quality of talent training and high-level achievements.
