Tianjin Normal University is a key institution of higher education in Tianjin. Its research institutions in natural sciences include the School of Mathematical Science, the School of Physics and Material Science, the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, the School of Chemistry, the School of Life Sciences, the School of Geography and Environmental Science, the School of Computer and Information Engineering, the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Environmental Sciences, and the Joint Research Center for the Ecological Protection and Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region.
