TNU has attached great importance to the formation of its teaching staff, continuously expanding the size and optimizing the structure of the teaching staff. After years of efforts, it has gathered a high-quality and specialized teaching team. It currently has 2,547 full-time faculty members, of which 1,763 are teachers, accounting for 69.3 percent. A total of 64.1 percent of faculty members hold a doctoral degree, and 66.4 percent of them are 45 years old or below.
The school's "talent strengthens school" strategy focuses on building excellent disciplines and unique majors, with a three-level talent growth sequence: "discipline leaders", "academic elites" and "young reserves". This approach has led to breakthroughs in cultivating and attracting high-level talents. Today it has two foreign academicians, three double-employed academicians, seven national top talents, 67 national talents, and 127 provincial talents, forming a high-level team with a solid foundation, sound hierarchy, fair competition, and remarkable achievements.
The university aims to improve its faculty team by creating mechanisms for growth, utilizing individual strengths, and providing incentives. This will help teachers achieve their goals while contributing to the development of the university. TNU aims to create a community where teachers and the university work together for mutual benefit.
